The Whitworthian staff is dedicated to presenting accurate and relevant information in an innovative manner. Our goal is to be accountable while informing, entertaining and providing a forum for expressing the interests of the Whitworth community. The Whitworthian has served as the main source of news, arts and sports coverage for the Whitworth community since 1905. We are an organization composed entirely of students which produces The Whitworthian newspaper and this website.

Hi, I’m Matt. I am the Advertising Captain for The Whitworthian, so I connect local businesses to students so that everyone can make some more dough. I’m also a junior double majoring in Environmental Science and Elementary Education. I’m hoping to coerce more STEM students to be involved in other departmental activities. At almost any moment of the day, I am thinking about how much I’d rather be outside or in a tree.
My name is Westley, and this will be my fourth year working for the Whitworthian. Though as you may have seen me in the past as a photographer, I have moved up to become the Whitworthian’s Design Editor! Hi! I’m Ben, and I have been with The Whitworthian photography team since the fall of 2020. I started out as a staff photographer and worked my way to editor of the excellent award-winning team at The Whitworthian. In my final year with the program, I have taken on the role of Editor Emeritus to help prepare the program to be great for years to come. I am a Senior biology major at Whitworth and, outside of school, I am a local Wedding Photographer in the greater Spokane area.
