Senior Wes Walton continued his successful run in Greensboro with a 13th place finish in the men’s 400 IM, earning four more points for the Pirates on Thursday with a time of 4:00:49.
After 19 events, the Whitworth men are tied for 21st out of 44 teams, with a team total of 20 points. 16 of those points have come from Walton. Walton will get the day off from competition today.
The Whitworth Men will look to close in on the lead on Friday, with the relay team competing in the 800 Freestyle, and sophomores Patrick Wilber and Jason Smith competing in the 100 Back. Junior Jackie Beal will look to get the Whitworth Women on the board today as she competes in the 100 Back.
