Despite the increasingly positive response to the women of the world who are speaking up and the unending support and encouragement from fellow victims, the momentum has hushed the voices of men who have been victims of sexual violence themselves.

I do not believe in blindly believing just anyone, but I do believe that not believing survivors enforces rape culture where survivors are shamed and perpetrators are not held accountable.
