The Whitworth women’s basketball team concluded their season with a 64-95 loss to the George Fox Bruins and an overall record of 15-11.
The Bruins gained an early lead over the Pirates within the first few minutes of the game, a lead the Pirates would not catch up to.
A tough full court Bruin defense forced 21 Pirate turnovers resulting in 14 steals and 27 points for George Fox.
Seniors KC McConnell and Faith Emerson concluded their collegiate careers as the leading scorer (24) and rebounder (5), respectively.
George Fox will face the Puget Sound Loggers this Saturday for the Northwest Conference championship title.
